At the corner of LaSalle & Monroe
Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008So here I am, watching the early morning crowd walk down Monroe, waiting for the line in front of the tmobile store to form.
I’m only conscious now for one reason: the T-Mobile G1.
I’m going to test it by buying it. If it doesn’t work, I’ll return it. I’ve had enough of mindless zealots who don’t have any use case besides to lay their dollars and time down before the figurehead of the day.
I realized it yesterday: Life is production.
I don’t know how much time I’ve wasted with technologies that don’t serve me well - that don’t simply get the job done.
The iPhone is the perfect example of this. I thought it was what I wanted. When I found out otherwise, I endured a week without a phone due tob a stupid technicality.
Life is production. Changes must be tested before implementation.
